50 deviates beyond what chance explains for a pool of 100

Drawn 48 times in 5,628 draws against 168.8 expected, −9.44σ. It passes even the threshold tightened for testing every number at once. Read the draw-by-draw history below before reading anything into it — and it still says nothing about the next draw.

The company it keeps

How many people play it

Under the crowd model, 50 is picked about 0.90× as often as an indifferent choice — 33rd most popular of 100. That changes nothing about whether it comes up, and everything about how many ways a jackpot on it would be shared.

What this cannot tell you

Nothing here predicts the next draw. A number’s history is a record of a fair machine’s past, and the machine keeps none of it: 50 is drawn with probability 3/100 tonight whatever it did last week.
